20 things about me in 2021.

I was once pulled over for having a smoothie in a solo cup. The cop saw me sipping at a red light at 8am.

I can’t stand my food cold or luke warm. It needs to be piping hot, just like my coffee- which I drink dark and strong.

I over-think anything and everything.

I’ll fly halfway across the country and back in a day if if means kissing my son goodnight.

I can’t stand camping and I prefer to stay in luxury hotels with plush white robes. As soon as I arrive in said hotel, I destroy the room with all of my belongings.

Mosquitos are in love with me so I wear bug spray everywhere which sometimes means showering multiple times a day during the summer.

When I was 10, we drove to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas. I learned the alphabet backwards on the way- and when we got to the canyon my sister and I said we didn’t want to get out of the car.

I’m single handedly attempting to keep the USPS in business by sending cards to friends every so often.

I literally can’t stand the Christmas season. It’s the worst holiday. 4th of July is where it’s at (minus any mosquitos).

Disney World is not really my jam. Too many people.

During quarantine, I have completed 700+ peloton workouts and counting.

I’m on my first marriage but third wedding ring. The first one got caught on a weight at the gym and the diamond fell out of the band while I was working out (don’t worry, we found the diamond!) and a couple years later I made the mistake of thinking I could wear my wedding rings late into a summer pregnancy. In case you ever find yourself in a similar situation, you can go to your local fire station and they have a special tool to cut off rings during medical emergencies.

I love everything about my birthday, and it has nothing to do with presents. I’m raising my child to be just as obsessed- month long birthdays are what life should be about.

Some people develop a bug for running when they complete their first 1/2 marathon. When I crossed the finish line in 2015, my first words were “absolutely never again.”

I find the Roku screen soothing, which means I turn the tv on immediately when I get into bed, but never actually watch anything.

When I was little, liver and onions was my favorite food. Ironically, I can’t stand onions as an adult.

I could sit on the beach for 12 hours a day if someone brought me food and sunscreen. Thankfully, I am raising a child exactly the same and married a man who will drop off food and beverages throughout the day if it means he can doesn’t need to come with us.

I’ve had the same two best friends since elementary/middle school. It doesn’t matter where life takes us, we always make time for each other.

I live by google calendar, but I also have a hand written calendar in case the world blows up and the cloud floats off into the sunset.

When I was giving birth to my son, the valet crashed my SUV into another car and created about $2,000 worth of damage. When I walked outside, I didn’t even notice because I was drugged up and distraught about leaving my son at the hospital.
